Your Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
● Create a respectful, nurturing, and joyful learning environment—both indoors and
outdoors
● Design engaging, interdisciplinary, and developmentally appropriate projects throughout
the year
● Invite children into the learning process by encouraging curiosity, exploration, and safe
risk-taking
● Prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of every child
● Deliver developmentally appropriate, differentiated instruction that meets individual
needs
● Support ongoing assessment of student growth through observations, documentation, and
conference reports
● Stay current in content knowledge, instructional best practices, and early childhood
research
● Differentiate instruction across content, process, product, and environment
● Provide engaging daily activities and provocations that spark hands-on learning and
discovery
● Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring classroom that encourages independence
● Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to design curriculum that reflects Jewish
values and traditions
● Create meaningful documentation of learning to share with families, colleagues, and
visitors
● Contribute to the development of individual child portfolios that capture each child’s
unique journey
What We’re Looking For
We’re excited to connect with educators who bring:
● A genuine love for working with young children and supporting diverse learners
● Knowledge of developmentally appropriate instructional methods
● Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
● Comfort working collaboratively with colleagues and communicating thoughtfully with
families
● Proficiency with basic technology and educational tools (email, documents,
presentations, etc.)
● Comfort using both PC and Apple devices to support learning\
● Completion of DCF 45 hours and CPR/First Aid certification
● A CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
● Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
(preferred)
● Associate Teachers must hold a minimum of a CDA)
