The Opportunity
Are you looking for a meaningful Fall 2026 internship that makes a real impact? Join
our Intern Program as a paid intern in the Early Childhood Department and be part
of a vibrant campus community while gaining hands-on experience working with young
children.
As an Early Childhood Intern, you’ll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging
learning environment. Interns help facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote
children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
● Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate classroom
activities, including art, sensory exploration, music, movement, and play-based
learning
● Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom and learning
environment
● Support children with daily routines, including transitions, snacks, meals, and
rest times
● Encourage positive behavior, kindness, and social-emotional development
using age-appropriate strategies
● Provide gentle guidance and redirection aligned with positive behavior
practices
● Observe and communicate any safety, behavioral, or health concerns to
supervising staff
● Serve as a caring, consistent, and professional role model for young children
